Bernardo Rodrigues, known as Waze, started writing lyrics at age 13 and released his first song at 16. Hailing from Porto, he quickly became one of the artists with the largest social media following in Portugal.

He released “Karma” (2018) and “Private Party” (2019) at a young age, and later “Rosa Negra,” an album dedicated to his brother and his most personal work. By age 20, he already had two albums released and over 40 million views on YouTube.

Tracks like “Não Me Lembro” — with Karetus —, “Seis Nove,” “Cell Phone,” and “Minha Ex,” with Deejay Telio, went viral and have accumulated millions of streams. Whenever he releases a song, it reaches the top of the national YouTube trending charts within hours.

Throughout his career he has collaborated with Wet Bed Gang, David Carreira, Deejay Telio, Karetus and Supa Squad, on tracks that became instant hits. Today he is one of the most established names in Portuguese hip hop and club music.
