TxC is a South African duo formed by Tarryn Reid and Clairise Hefke. Born in Gqeberha and based in Johannesburg, they have become one of the global faces of Amapá music and embrace this role as a mission.

They rose to fame through social media, with electrifying sets and their own method of "breaking" online themes through dance—something unprecedented at the time that quickly became a viral phenomenon. This is how they went from local names to international acts in just over two years.

They performed at the 2022 World Cup and the Qatar Fan Festival, and since then have toured major festivals and clubs in Europe, Africa, and America. In 2025, they won the BET Award for Best New International Act, the biggest recognition of their career to date.

The duo's sound is in constant motion: dominant percussion, soul elements, and more aggressive log drums, always with dancefloor energy at the forefront. “Turn Off The Lights” continues to grow on social media and is now their international calling card.
