Mpho Mohlong, known as Mpho.Wav, is a South African producer and DJ from Orange Farm, with a deep and spiritual sound blending Afro house, 3-step, and deep house.

He started making music in high school, in 2013, and quickly became a sought-after session musician for various live projects. He has shared the stage with gospel singer Lebo Sekgobela and the legendary Ray Phiri of Stimela—an instrumental background that continues to distinguish his productions from those of his peers.

In 2020, his dedication caught the attention of Sun-EL Musician, who invited him to join EL World Music. Tracks like “Underground,” “Love” with Azana, and “iThemba” with Maline Aura followed, securing his place among the fastest-rising names in South African Afro house.

He released his debut album “Book of Wav” at the end of 2024 and, in 2026, the EP “Into The Deep”, in a more introspective style. He has his own residency on Rinse FM and takes his sets to festivals and clubs all over Europe, including ADE in Amsterdam.
