Joaquim Ivandro Paulo, known simply as Ivandro, was born in Benguela, Angola, and grew up in Portugal. He began composing his first original songs in 2013, while simultaneously publishing covers on his YouTube channel—that's where he first gained recognition.

He participated in SIC's "Ídolos" (Idols) in 2015, reaching the theater stage, and auditioned for "Got Talent Portugal" in 2017, receiving jury approval. But it was outside of television, on social media and streaming platforms, that his career truly took off.

His collaboration with Bispo on "Essa Saia" (2019) surpassed 15 million streams and opened doors to a wider audience. In 2022, he became the most listened-to Portuguese artist on Spotify—a rare feat for an artist without a released album.

This album arrived in February 2024: “Trovador”, a solo debut that confirmed a voice capable of traversing R&B, pop and Lusophone sounds with the same naturalness. In between, there were tracks like “Por Ti”, “Monarquia” and the collaboration with IZA on “Mó Paz”.
