Fernando Jorge Marta Silva, known as Djodje, is a Cape Verdean singer, songwriter, and producer born on January 15, 1989, in Praia. Raised in a deeply musical family (his father was the guitarist for the legendary band Os Tubarões), he started early—recording the hit “Volta” with the group TC at age 12.

His debut solo album “Sempre TC” (2006) launched his international career, followed by “Check-In”, “Feedback”, “Newborn”, and “Mininu di Oru”. He has performed in Portugal, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the USA, Angola, Mozambique, and Guinea-Bissau, winning awards such as CVMA, Kizomba Music Awards, and IPMA.

Co-founder of the Broda Music label and the Kriol King project with Nelson Freitas, he is today one of the most respected voices in Cape Verdean music and a leading figure in Lusophone Afro-pop.
